Safety & Care
Light the tip of the bundle briefly, then gently extinguish the flame, allowing the herbs to smolder. Hold over a heat-resistant dish to catch falling embers. Use only in a well-ventilated area and keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials. Never leave a smoldering bundle unattended.
To Extinguish
Place the smudge stick inside a fireproof container and seal it with a tight-fitting lid or an inverted bowl to cut off oxygen. An airtight glass jar also works well once the stick is completely out.
